Age: Almost 6 months
Brianna, our adorable bundle of love, now weighs close to 21 lbs. The teachers at her daycare gently suggested that she is probably ready for solid food. (AKA, she's big and hungry.) We were going to start her at 6 months, so we figured a few days early certainly wouldn't hurt. Here is a video clip of her with baby oatmeal. Feeding Brianna for the first time was a VERY different experience than feeding Gabriella. Please note the arm reaching for the spoon:

Age 4 months
Brianna's 4 month doctor appointment was probably typical for a second born. Healthy? Yes? Great! Thanks! See you in 2 months.
Of course, in true family style, Stew, my mom, Gabriella, and I were all crowded in the doctor's office eagerly waiting to hear what we already knew - that she's doing just fine. The funny part of the visit was that the doctor had to remeasure Brianna because she thought the nurse made a mistake. Nope. She's just that huge. I thought "off the charts" was just a figure of speech- but there really is a chart that the kid can go off of in the doctor's office. Who knew?
She was 27.25 inches long and weighed 18.4 oz. Gabriella didn't weigh this much until she was almost 12 months old.
